The new control offers additional features not available in previous Stock controllers. The DT-9 supports
many of the modern communications systems that new and upgraded power plants have begun to adopt.
Because fieldbus communication technologies are becoming more prevalent in the plant setting, the DT-9
has been designed to accommodate these innovations. By using systems such as Modbus, Ethernet/IP,
Profibus or DeviceNet, plants can put their equipment on a network and avoid costly, individual wire runs.
This allows for more information to be available directly to the control room or even remote diagnostics.
